Horse Sales Policy
Purchasing or selling a horse is a major decision. It can be a decision made in haste or one with an extended period of indecision. When Fadeaway Farm sells a horse to a buyer, we look to provide a reasonable period of due diligence while acknowledging that a good horse could have many potential buyers. Therefore, we operate on a first come first serve basis. The horses we sell are available for sale until they are paid for in full.

If a pre-purchase exam is desired it should be set up for a scheduled day and time by the buyer. The horse will be reserved until the pre-purchase exam is completed if deposit is applied. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required at the time the pre-purchase exam is scheduled to hold the horse for the buyer through completion of the pre-purchase exam. We will not sell the horse to another buyer before you have had the opportunity to complete your pre-purchase exam.

If you decide on moving forward with purchasing the horse, the deposit will be applied to the purchase price. This is a non-refundable deposit, so in the event you decide not to proceed with purchasing the horse, for any reason, it will not be returned. The potential buyer will have up to 2 business days to decide if you are proceeding with the purchase after the completion of the pre-purchase exam. An extension for bloodwork and drug screening will be allowed as that can take 4-5 business days to receive results.

You may choose not to put down a non-refundable deposit, however, that means we will not reserve the horse and another potential buyer could decide to purchase the horse outright before your pre-purchase exam is completed.
We do not permit horses to go out for trial periods, but you are more than welcome to test ride as many times as you like until the horse is purchased by you or another buyer.

Setting up a Pre-Purchase Exam: We recommend Allegheny Equine and Fox Run Equine for scheduling pre-purchase exams. Both practices do not provide any routine work for us, thus removing the potential for a conflict of interest.

Transportation: We will transport a purchased horse within a 2–4-hour range of Sarver PA 16055 for a fee. An alternate or private carrier is welcome to transport the horse as well. Fadeaway Farm will hold the horse for 5 calendar days at no cost while shipping is arranged. However, after the 5th calendar day, boarding fees will be charged at $35 a day until the horse is picked up.

Form of Payment: Cash, Certified check, or money wire.

HORSES FOR SALE
Code Blu- SOLD 9/12/24
I can't say enough amazing things about this horse. Code Blu is a 15.2, seven year old TB gelding. USDF number 1150613 with a very nice competition record. Cody has very consistent scores in the upper to mid 70s. He is lovely in the barn. He is great for the farrier and only wears front shoes. Perfect for clipping, self-loads on trailer and very easy and settled at shows. Schooling Second Level movements. Although he is 15.2 he has a large barrel that takes up rider leg. Rider in videos and photos is 5'7". Perfect mount for Jr. Rider or small adult amateur wanting a competitive show partner but also fancy enough for a professional to continue to produce. I'll be sad to see this one go, but whoever gets him will very lucky!

Highlights include:
Being in the top 15 for Training Level USDF Horse of the Year.
Multiple high point awards at Training and First Level.
Reserve Champion at Thoroughbred Incentive Championship 2023 at First Level.

PRINCETON RF
Princeton RF - Gaudi (Totilas/DeNiro/Romancier) x Furstin Nordica (Furst Heinrich/Werther/Worldcup) is a stunning 2020, 16.2h (and growing) registered KWPN gelding, coming 4 years old in May. Princeton is easy to handle on the ground, cross ties, good with clippers and has been taught to self load onto the trailer. He has been exposed to trail riding and has played on obstacle trail class courses. He was saddle broke as a 3 year old and has had some time to grow. Don’t miss out on this incredible prospect with amazing pedigree and fantastic brain.
